I used a lot of techniques from the class. I have a small machine so piecing quilted blocks was awesome. The finished quilt is 65" x 70". I did the center of the quilt in two pieces then added the 5-inch border afterward. The mitered corners took me a little while to work out as did matching the front and back hearts. I ended up sewing the "I love you" heart on by hand. My favorite thing is the lattice work. I put a lot of thought into that and think it turned out wonderfully.

Love your swirls. I just can't seem to get the hang of these. Beautiful quilt!

Thank you! I feel like I'm just now getting the hang of the swirls myself. I really enjoy quilting them now.

Beautiful quilt. I think the swirls in the heart look like roses.

Thank you Cathie. My Mom said the same thing. :) I think they do too.
