What materials did you use? Old blue jeans and quilting fabric for backing.

What are you most proud of? That I decided I was going to do it and I did!! Also, that I didn't use any traditional pattern, rather designed each block based on the type of jeans I had. Used mostly pockets and zippers but no part of the jeans were left untouched.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If I can do it, you can too. Be sure to buy enough jeans (Goodwill) and don't throw away a single scrap until you are finished. You never know where you'll need the smallest piece to add on somewhere.

I have been collecting old jeans. This quilt inspires me to get started converting them to something useful :)

I like the way you 'dressed up' the blocks. Great quilt that your granddaughter should be able to carry right into adulthood.

Hi is this a quilt-as-you-go quilt method??
