What materials did you use? Various yarns, rat tail cord, floss, ribbons and cotton perle were sewn or couched on to fabric with Decor Bond on the backside.

What are you most proud of? I am proud after learning some new techniques, such as couching and attaching a rat tail binding, that I actually did it and had so much fun!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be prepared to step out of your comfy box and explore something totally different! Come with open mind to have FUN, learn something new hopefully and yes, NO mistakes or NO rules apply to this project!!!

Very cool piece. Don't you just love how all the colors, stitches and couching materials pull together so nicely? I certainly do. Great job.

Thank you! And yes, I just love this process. I had never couched before but am now loving the effects it can give. More projects are swirling around in my head to do.
