Do you sell this cake? No, just for fun

Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Used the techniques taught in class as the basis for everything you see on the cake. This was my first time using royal icing for decorations, I typically use fondant/gumpaste/buttercream for most of my work. This was one of the best classes so far, Ceri did a wonderful job demonstrating and providing guidance. The cake itself was wrapped in MM fondant with 4 vanilla tiers and a cannoli/cinnamon/chocolate chip filing.

What are you most proud of? First time over-piping with royal icing, a very impressive technique!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Pay particular attention to the shape of your sweeping scrolls. This was my first time at it and over-piping with a tip 1 proved a bit challenging. The more natural your curves, the better your final design will come out.

It looks fantastic! I was debating whether to get the class but if it produces these results I think I'll go for it!
