What materials did you use? Cotton Prints and Batiks

What are you most proud of? This is way out of the box for me, I love working with bright, fun and different fabrics but to put them all in one quilt without coordinating it was difficult. I had some black and some white fabric but not enough of either to use as the background for the whole quilt so I did half dark and half light. When I did each block i focused on making it look nice and didn't focus on the overall quilt. I tried to use a material for the sashing that would tie everything together. I am also going to take Leah Day's Craftsy class to quilt it, this will be the largest project I have Free Motion Quilted.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Dive right in and have fun with it, there is so much room to make it unique.
