What was your inspiration?
Had to find the right pattern to show off the focus fabric which highlights the U. S. Navy. Needed a block that would have a large open space.
This was a pattern I found two years ago and was just waiting on the right focus fabric in order to use it!
What are you most proud of?
How the colors turned out to compliment the focus fabric so well. Also, very pleased to get the side borders cut for a continuous strip.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This quilt turned out much bigger than I expected, so make sure to figure out what size you want before you get started.
