Using smaller needles CO 110 sts.Work in K1, P1 rib for 1 1/2" increasing every 11th stitch on last row - 120 sts.
Change to larger needles & work stitch pattern as follows:
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Knit
Row 3: Purl
Repeat these 3 rows until hat measures 6"
Place markers every 15 sts on final round
