As soon as Paul Gallo could hold a pencil he began to draw clothing. By age 11 he was designing complete collections with fabric and color stories. He went to F.I.T. in New York and graduated from the Fashion Design Program where he got his first jobs on 7th Avenue. He has worked as a draper, fashion illustrator & patternmaker ever since for companies in the U.S., China and India. 3 years ago he launched a revolutionary new sewing tool called Getta Grip Sewing Clips which you use in place of pins. The U.S. Patent office awarded his invention with a Patent this year and the clips were the editor's pick for best new notion when they debuted in Threads, SewNews and Vogue Patterns magazines. They are featured in Sandra Betzina's Sewing Toolbox book series and on her "Power Sewing" show as well as on "Sewing With Nancy" on PBS. Diane Sawyer did a story that featured the clips on World News Tonight and the clips have made their way all over the world through distributors and his website.
