Every month, Laura uses an original block design to teach you one quilting technique, including partial seams, Y-seams, drafting, and both 60- and 45-degree triangles. You'll create 10 blocks in different sizes. It's a great class for experienced quilters, but jump right in if you have basic sewing skills!
In the fall, you'll learn two fun filler blocks, then assemble a 60" x 63" quilt and finish with Laura's easy mitered binding.
Enroll FREE any time during the year and get instant access to all the lessons you've missed. As with all Craftsy courses, you can take the class at your own pace, and you get a great online community to share ideas with. Get ready for your 2013 quilting adventure!

Thanks Laura for a wonderful class. Reminders throughout the class never hurt. Thats why I love that we can watch these lessons over and over. I learned some great techniques I know I will use again and I learned some I don't like too much. For thr 60degree I need to go get myself a ruler just for that. Using my other rulers brought me more confusion. The only thing I would hae asked for better is the written directions being more detailed so we do not always have to depend on both the video ...
I have found that doing a BOM is a great way to add new techniques to my knowledge base. This BOM has been a great tool to add these techniques and make a unique quilt. With various sized blocks it shows that just about anything works. Many thanks to Laura, her knowledge and her infectious joy of quilting. I hope that she will be doing more Craftsy courses.
