Q&A with knitfan1

nmkuem asked:
This is lovely. Can you give us the yarn name? And did you set up the plaid effect, or did the yarn do this on its own?
knitfan1 answered:
The yarn is Austermann Step, a sock yarn, and the color is Ennis. The yarn has long variegation, so it makes the plaid by itself. I used 1 skein as warp and 1 skein as weft.
10ashus asked:
I like your colors. Is the warp and weft the same yarn? A multicolor yarn? Is there a raised texture in your weave?
knitfan1 answered:
Same yarn for warp and weft, 1 skein each, 2 skeins total. Yes, multicolor yarn (see picture of yarn next to the scarf in picture 2). No raised texture, just plain weave.
Venisa McAllister asked:
What a beautiful scarf. I want to start weaving and hope I can make something so beautiful one day!
knitfan1 answered:
You can do it! Multicolor yarn is the trick. Plain weave is quick and easy.
