Project Description

What are you most proud of? Mostly, what I learned from this project was patience and a deep appreciation for the joy and delight of slowing down and enjoying every step in the creative process. The journey and not the end result. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Enjoy every moment this is pure joy.

What you will need

Q&A with nancyelizabeth

KnittinChicken asked:
I love the socks, and the fibre is gorgeous too. I'm surprised you raw fibre can be shipped around the world. Here in New Zealand we have import restrictions on many natural products because of biosecurity risks. Luckily that stunning polwarth is already here!
nancyelizabeth answered:
I know what you mean. It turns out that here in Canada we require a very expensive certification document to accompany the fiber. It was well worth the extra cost and I am so glad we are able to get these wonderful fibers into our hands here. Not that we don't have some amazing fibers in Canada, just different ones :)
