Q&A with servareginae

RobininAR asked:
As the mother of performing girls (five Irish dancers), I really appreciate the extra attention to special occasion dresses. This is lovely!
servareginae answered:
Thank you. I think the dress will stand out, but not too much I hope. Do you sew for all five?
Hopeful sewer asked:
So fun!!! Good that you went with the elaborate sleeves even on a dress for a young girl. Rather than looking heavy, they add a sort of joyous fantasy to the dress. Really nice.
servareginae answered:
Thank you. I think the dress and sleeves suit her well. I don't think I will wear rose sleeves. I would need something more matronly.
sabatka1033532 asked:
How absolutely beautiful! Your daughter really looks spectacular in this dress. I remember the special dresses my mother made for me, and I'm sure your daughter will remember you too.
servareginae answered:
Thank you. I would like to make a collection of heirloom dresses for her.
Davesmom asked:
I am fascinated by the sleeves. They are interesting and make the dress special. Awesome job!!
servareginae answered:
Thank you.
DementedFairy asked:
Beautiful work- I saw the sleeve tutorial too, and I'm itching to try it on something. I'm a hand-picked zip fan too. Your daughter must be very proud of her clever mum!
servareginae answered:
Thank you. I love sewing for her and my two boys.
