Q&A with Cowgirl24

Screaming Mimi asked:
Very nice job. I actually made this same shirt for a client with a stretchy knit, and applique embellishments, so I know first hand what a time intensive project this "simple" shirt can turn in to! I think your accents are perfect for the fabric, color, and style of the shirt.
Cowgirl24 answered:
Thank you so much! I'd love to see your shirt if you have a pic of it!
Jackie G. asked:
This is stunning! I'd wear it around town! Where did you get the awesome fabric? You have inspired me! I am heading off to my swing room now. Thanks for sharing your project here.
Cowgirl24 answered:
Thank you so much! I got the fabric at JoAnn's in the swim/dance section. It is a very stretchy material. The collar and cuffs are satin with heavy interfacing for crispness.
peaprincess asked:
I like this shirt so much! It's so stylish and so original. And you're so right when you say details like this would cost a fortune to buy RTW. Fantastic! And it looks wonderful on your daughter!
Cowgirl24 answered:
Thank you so much! It was nice to have her input too.
Snazzy SewNsew asked:
Wow! I love this shirt and could imagine myself wearing it all the time!! Gorgeous colour and cut. Well done!
Cowgirl24 answered:
Thank you! Hopefully, next month the DD can wear it in a horse show. She has only got to wear it the one time. I have made this shirt in many colors and different colored collars and cuffs. It usually turns out well, except for the one time I sewed the zipper inside out! The DD had to zip it from the inside because I wasn't ripping it out!
Claudia Miller asked:
Oooh! Very nice!
Cowgirl24 answered:
Thank you!
