Victorian style corset

What are you most proud of? Just the overall look of the corset. It's great for wearing under costumes, but looks great on the outside over a pretty blouse. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Try to have a lot of patience. Also, always make a mock up of your corset first to check the fit. And check the fit as you go. Most importantly, I think, don't rush, take things slowly!

Q&A with VictorianGirl93

Sam Bray asked:
I never would have considered using a damask for a corset - it looks stunning, great idea :)
VictorianGirl93 answered:
Thanks. I used to work for a dry cleaners and lots of the table cloths we cleaned were made of damask. I was given all the old things with holes in them for sewing, and I used one to make my very first corset. It was quite pretty, so when I walked past some of it on sale in the shops I knew exactly what to do with it!
