Tweedybits Messenger Bag

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I am proud of every bag I've made and I love seeing my family and friends using my creations whether they are my own patterns or not. I found the tips from Brett's class to be really useful and everyone who has seen the handbags I've made since watching the class, have commented on how professionally made they look and it makes me proud when I get those comments. What advice would you give someone starting this project? take your time on the cutting out of all fabrics and ensure you iron the fabric at every stage. Enjoy yourself!

What you will need

  • Harris Tweed fabric for the outer batting and fusible interfacing to stabilise the bag and a cotton pillowcase for the lining.
