Tula Top

Project Description

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Sorbetto Top by Colette Link to website or photo www.coletterie.com/colette-patterns-news/free-pattern-to-download-the-sorbetto-top What are you most proud of? The fit. The top is simple to make and really feels like a custom made top. I have several of them and have made them as gifts for friends. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Try making one using store bought bias tape trim first. THEN, try making your own bias trim. It is so much making custom bias trim. Here is a great tutorial for making continuous bias tape. http://www.coletterie.com/tutorials-tips-tricks/continuous-bias-tape-tutorial

What you will need

  • Tula Pink cotton fabric from her Birds and Bees collection and store bought bias tape.
