The Orange Flannel Shirt

Project Description

What are you most proud of? The plaid matching turned out very well! The details (yoke and pockets) cut on bias matched up well and provide visual interest. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Matching plaids along the center front line of the shirt will give you the best results. Make sure the fabric is squared away and on grain before cutting. I use a digital camera or a phone to take pictures of where I placed pattern pieces, to match later pieces when cutting.
