The Kitchenaid Dress

What are you most proud of? I like the pindot band on top. This dress makes me wanna whip up a souffle. Not that I've ever cooked a souffle, but you know... What advice would you give someone starting this project? It's easy if you're used to simple patterns. Use contrasting fabric for the bodice outer band and straps for some pop. This would also be nice in a plain color, accessorized with sweater, tights, belt, etc for winter! (It doesn't usually get super cold in Austin so I continue to make oodles of dresses throughout the year and just layer with a sweater)

You Can Make This

Uglybeat made The Kitchenaid Dress with:

  • I used Michael Miller kitschy kitchen fabric and some red pindot fabric for the top band.
