Project Description

What are you most proud of? the way it came out and the fact that it was only a twenty minute project...and this style is great for maternity wear as well What advice would you give someone starting this project? use a soft stretchy material with a good flow preferably something that wont fray so you can leave the bottom edges without a seam for a better flow

What you will need

  • material
  • thread
  • sewing machine

This is a great looking project. Kudos on the results of a 20 minute labor! Love this! Please try to add a few more comments to have a better understanding on where to sew what and the like as many may not understand how to assemble this.

thank you, and it is kind of hard to describe but i will far as bottom half of dress goes there is no sewing involved just fold the square in half, then in half again and cut half circle in the corner where all folds meet....the top i just cut a long piece of fabric (length of my chest measurement) the sewed to make circle, then i sewed that the the bottom half (where the circle i cut was) leaving the seam in the center front so i could create the gather (by adding elastic to seam) hope that helps
