Q&A with Sarah Becker

Thread Queen asked:
QUICK bowls! Looks like a lot of work to me! You have done a beautiful job as usual. What a lucky friend to get one of these for a gift!
Sarah Becker answered:
Thank you :)
Skey asked:
I finally made my first one yesterday! It doesn't look as good as yours, but I'm totally hooked! Great job on those as usual - love the strawberries and the waved edges. :)
Sarah Becker answered:
Oh, I'm so glad you've given it a go and caught the addiction yourself, hehe. Don't be silly, I'm sure yours is fabulous!
Shoestring asked:
Hi Sarah, I just started following your work. I love it! Not that I need another hobby, but I am so inspired by your colors, shapes, embellisments. I ordered a Susan Breier book Wrap It Up II. I couldn't decided between her first book or second book. I am so excited for the book to arrive to start learning the process. Thank you for posting your beautiful work. What are your favorite colors? Can you use fabrics other than cotton?
Sarah Becker answered:
Thank you so much, you just made me feel pretty good about myself, hehe. I have not read either of her books myself, but I definitely plan to. I love this craft just for the fact that you can just experiment without having a specific plan in your head, and you never know what you'll come up with! I am really looking forward to seeing your creations. My favourite cokour is definitely green, but I just love anything bright. I can't imagine ever doing a project that wasn't full of colour! I frequently use my kids old clothes. I would think the only limitation would be to not use material that's too thick because your machine would probably object!
