Sculptured Purse

Project Description

What was your source for this sewing project? Improvisational What are you most proud of? There is a pronounced sculpture on this soft chenille, pale green upholstery fabric (see photos). Nice to the touch! Easy to sew. I use extra pins when using so soft chenille--because it likes to slide when you are joining seams, or attaching a front pocket. I plan to make a set of soft travel luggage out of this beautiful fabric too. What advice would you give someone starting this project? TIP: When making soft travel luggage--finish and protect your projects with a spray of scotch guard. There are lots of brands out there. Don't be put off by the cost of a can of it. Do this for your customers. When you sell your things at events, it is one more feature that will delight your customers. They'll buy from you--because--you've thought of everything, right?
