Scoop Neck Tee

Project Description

What are you most proud of? how good the hems and neckline look (coverstitched!) I've washed it a few times and everything still looks great.

What you will need

  • Some beautiful
  • very drapy bamboo rayon knit I've been wanting to use for some time but my old machine made a terrible mess of it
  • especially the hems. After taking Meg's 'Sewing with knits' class I learned many new skills and finally decided to stick with my old sewing machine and serger and invest in a coverstich machine... It changed my life

Looks great. Thank you for the advice about the sizes. The scoop neck is my next project so I try to mesaure me and the pattern a litle more.
miss_red answered:
awesome! i think if your between sizes go for the bigger one is all :)
Davesmom asked:
What is a cover stitch? Your t-shirt is looks great and is a nice fit! I am looking forward to making a t-shirt one of these days.
miss_red answered:
It's a special machine that looks like a serger edge on the inside of the garment and straight stitch on the outside... Look at the hem of a store bought tee and you will see what I mean.
Teresa Maria asked:
