Sassy Librarian Blouse in Voile

What advice would you give someone starting this project? With my original version, last fall, I increased the front vertical dart length by 2" to give a better waist definition. I originally used a quilting cotton and the blouse hung a bit boxy. With this version, I did not lengthen the vertical darts as the fabric has a better drape and it does not have that boxy feel to it. I highly recommend using a lighter weight fabric if you want a softer fit. Otherwise, if a very structured silhouette is what you are after, use something comparable to a 100% cotton quilting fabric. This pattern is easy to sew and easy to fit. Just make a muslin first to ensure the proper sizing as it is sized differently than the Top 3 pattern companies. It is sized closer to RTW.
