Retro Apron in Gypsy Bandana

What are you most proud of? I used a three-thread setting on my serger with decorative thread in the upper looper to create the apron tie. This is my favorite look...and it is sew fast! What advice would you give someone starting this project? This pattern calls for you to add rickrack to the hem. For this version, I used bias tape instead. It gives it a more classic look.
