Red silk spencer

This is a spencer jacket that I made for my sister, who chose everything from the red silk shantung, to the closure and covered buttons. I mounted the silk shantung onto silk organza, and added interfacings, also of silk organza, to the collar. Because of the strong tendency to fray in my fashion fabric and because of some major time constraints, I opted to use Seams Great as opposed to hand finishing every raw edge. I really enjoyed making this jacket and learning all of the new techniques I got to use.
