What are you most proud of? I love the way this project turned out. I was surprised that I could so easily sew through 14 layers of jersey at the bottom. I had expected to have to think of another way to construct it, but it sewed fine, if a little slow. I think this will be the perfect purse to carry. It has an outside compartment on each side where the triangles cross and, of course the inside of the purse to store stuff in. I will be making more of these in different colors and patterns. Love, love it. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Think through the project after reading the instructions. The layers I ended up with are two for each of the fabric triangles in order to do the reverse applique, then an additional layer added to each triangle for the lining. For the strap I used four layers of jersey rather than adding interfacing. The binding at the bottom of the purse is just two layers of binding applied as per AC.
