Proof-of-Concept Dress

What are you most proud of? Most proud that I was able to take Lynda's techniques that adjust the dress muslin to fit me well! No more sagging backs, no more darts in the wrong place or going up and over my bust point. Also, proud that I was able to draft my own facing and lining from the pattern. It was pretty easy, but I like to "color inside the lines", so deviating from the pattern instructions was a something new for me. :) What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take it slow and have a buddy help you! Pay attention to where your garment is trying to go (i.e. tug lines) and follow Lynda's advice. I had to replay some of the segments more than five times to finally understand what I was doing.
