Pillowcase dress

Project Description

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Pillowcase Dress Link to website or photo www.nancysnotions.com What are you most proud of? That these dresses will go to children in need! What advice would you give someone starting this project? It's very simple, especially if you use a pillow case, which eliminates hemming! Also, if you'd rather use bias tape for the arm holes, that might be easier as well. Have fun, adding your own embellishments!

What you will need

  • Homespun fabric
  • rick rack & ribbon.

no matter how you sew it, it still looks like a pillow case..........I'll stick to the real sundresses. they are not that hard to make and they can be so much cuter!
Pecan Pie answered:
Dresses for Africa are asking for pillow case dresses, so that's what we're making. I think they are cute as can be, especially when you add trim, ribbons, etc.....
