What you will need

  • Using the methods taught in this class I was able to alter my pattern in the waist area for a better fit. I used a thin piece of gingham broadcloth to test my pattern but ended up liking it so much | wanted to wear it
  • so I lined it with a thin white cotton broadcloth. Because it was lined I used Barbara's method of bias facings to finish the neck
  • arm holes and hem
  • it looks so professional! I almost gave up on the top a couple of times
  • I changed the darts 3 times
  • but I could hear Barbara saying..."It's not rocket science
  • just sewing" Thanks
  • Barbara
  • for a wonderful class.
