Peasant Shirt

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Little Baby Bug Link to website or photo www.countrybumpkin.com.au/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=434008 What are you most proud of? Being able to clothe my child in adorable one-off outfits that cost virtually nothing, by using up old remnants. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I put lace stripes on the yoke, but last time I made it, I took the time to embroider the yoke and it looked a lot better. Also, both times I've made this I didn't use the smocking design in the pattern - it's perfectly fine, but just didn't suit the look I was trying to achieve. My advice is, if you feel an existing design needs altering or embellishing, go ahead - your instincts are probably right!
