DaisyandFlorrie asked:
Very cool form - great job!
leeking81 answered:
Thank you.
carlygold asked:
Nicely done! Does the course go into detail about how to make this or does it just focus on the fabric moulage?
leeking81 answered:
Thank you very much! No the Course does not go into any detail of how to make the Dress-form, this was my own doing. But the Class does go into detail on how to make an exact replica of your own body measurements, hence the reason why I could of make this Dress-form.
Yevans2130 asked:
Thanks for the info. I was able to use some material I hade around the house to make my dress form stand. I will try to send a picture to you later. Yvonne
leeking81 answered:
You are certainly welcome ! Glad to hear you made a stand for your dress form. looking forward to the picture.
JC Phillips asked:
I love your DF...well done! I appreciate your attitude and this year I'll make the time to make my own. Thanks for the inspiration. May I ask what did you use at the bottom to hold your from... classy indeed! Take Care!
leeking81 answered:
Thank you jcphillips for the nice comment and you are very welcome. At the bottom of the DF I used PVC plumbing that is used to connect Toilets in some way, I cannot remember the name of it but you can get it a Lowes at the toilet section. You can look at the picture of my DF and get an idea what you will be buying, remember to test to see if your PVC pipe fits before buying. This is then attached to a circular piece of wood that came off a plant stand I had laying around. You can also use a square piece of wood like the ones on the other DF. I have also added wheels at the bottom. Good luck on your project and let me know how it goes.
BeckyMW asked:
You've done an incredibly beautiful job!! So smooth. I'm in awe. I've made two duct tape forms in the past, but I've never been able to make something that looks this well!!
leeking81 answered:
Thank you so much Becky, I really appreciate all the comments. I have a new idea in my head to perfect it even more, will post some new pictures on my finish project when I am done.
