Muu-Muu to Purse!

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Simplicity 2685 Link to website or photo www.simplicity.com/p-1636-accessories.aspx What are you most proud of? I did piping for the first time. Even though it's a straight line, I thought it would be harder. I always get a kick out of incorporating something new into my skillset. Now I'm going to go pipe a whole wardrobe! What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you like smaller bags, use the lining part of the pattern for the bag body, then cut down the lining pattern a bit for the actual lining. It takes away the pleats that are part of the original pattern, but I really wanted to showcase the print more simply. It's already kinda busy!

You Can Make This

Uglybeat made Muu-Muu to Purse! with:

  • A sweet
  • psychedelic muu-muu I found at the thrift store.
