Mint Tunic Shirt

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I have always wanted to make this pattern, and I purchased some shirting from Gorgeous Fabrics America, which looked as if it would do the trick. I really like the asymetrical seam detailing on the body of the shirt, and the tower placket cuff - also the collar adds a twist to the traditional shirt. What advice would you give someone starting this project? The pattern is challenging, the collar is unusual, but it's nice to have a pattern that makes you think occasionally.

What you will need

  • Stretch cotton
  • thread
  • Vogue 1204 Issey Miyake pattern

Good on you, I would love to see a pic when you are finished. The collar stand needs a little thought but otherwise it is pretty easy,
