mermaid terry cloth lined cover up.

What are you most proud of? The Joy of seeing how happy it made my grand nieces and the requests from my other grand nieces and there friends. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Measure you child-1- where you want top, waist or hip 2- hip 3- top to ankle 4- top to bottom of knee. I used 1/2 seam allowance, only one seam on one side. To cut V, I found middle of front & back, marked. then mark 1/2 each side of center mark. On each side, measure from top down your #4 measurement & mark where bottom of knee hits. use ruler to drawl line from side to center mark 1/2 out from center. This is your V cut ine where you sew on fin.
