Love for the Invisible Zipper

What are you most proud of? Since I didn't have to put much effort into the zipper I got crafty and added the bias strips to the waist band and all the contrast fabric. Great way to use up that extra 1/2 yard. I like it, but it might be border line cutesy for some people! What advice would you give someone starting this project? I have been sewing for a long time but never tried an invisible zipper. I have a Bernina and did have to buy their $20+ dollar presser foot. Thank you Diana for showing me the steps. I think for cotton skirts and easy breezy clothes invisible might be a great way to go.

Q&A with Janet Berry

Carrie K.W. asked:
What manikin dress form do you use?
Janet Berry answered:
Just a basic adjustable dress form. I pad it with 6 inch strips of fleece material so I can pin into it.
