Linton Tweed Jacket

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of the fact I actually managed to finish this. I had already started it before I took this class. What advice would you give someone starting this project? The sleeves take plenty of patience, especially if you have a loose weave fabric, slippery lining and a stripe to match!

What you will need

  • The outer fabric is a Linton Tweed
  • which I purchased direct from their factory. The lining is silk charmeuse. The trim is a purchased trim on top of a cotton petersham ribbon. I used a Burda pattern
  • as the one from the course has not arrived; however
  • the fit of Burda is more suitable for me.
