Q&A with OriginalRed

Pohutukawa asked:
What a great first jacket, how great is Craftsy for a learning platform? Congratulations...
OriginalRed answered:
Really great! I like that you can watch over and over.
Janet Pray asked:
Wow! Your first jacket and you did a fabulous job. Keep going, make another one soon. That way you will build your skills. If you wait too long its easy to forget! Happy Sewing and thanks for posting, Janet
OriginalRed answered:
Thanks for the great instruction, Janet!
jenjlair asked:
Great Jacket! I was also thinking of trying this in a linen - was yours a heavy weight or midweight? I am guessing more midweight since you made a dress from it as well. What kind of interfacing did you use? I was worried the interfacing might make it a bit stiff, when the rest of the linen is so drapey. Thanks for the inspiration!
OriginalRed answered:
Hi Jenjlair. Yes. It was a midweight linen. The interfacing was lightweight fusible. I loved the linen fabric and I encourage you to try linen too.
