weeseam asked:
I'd like to know how do you sew the straps together. I don't have a clue. HELP!
CharmingNeedle answered:
I did sew the two extremities together by hand using a whipstitch. But, I would do it differently. Did you ever saw that free pattern: http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/bags-pillows-gifts/bags-and-purses/grab-bags? It is a similar bag with the same type of handles. But, their way of joining the handle ends is much better. I suggest you refer to this. Basically when sewing the lining and outer fabric together, you don't sew the handles all the way through the top. You stop 2 inch from the top end to leave enough fabric to be able to manipulate the handles to sew both ends together by machine. Once turn right side out, join the outer fabrics ends together using a 1/2" seam allowance. For the lining fabric just fold and press one end by 1/4". This will cover the raw edge of the other end. Then topstitch the outer fabric and lining all the way around the handles. Hope this helps.

cannot find the pdf. all links are broken
CharmingNeedle answered:
It seems I can't put links in comments. They get truncated. I've updated the link in the description of the project. It should work now.
