Jacket

What are you most proud of? How every thing came together. Wondered at times if it would. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I spent as much time listening to lessons as sewing. Could not have done without the feed back and reading others questions.

Q&A with martRA

barbara.m1013352 asked:
This is a beautiful jacket! Did you make the fringe from the fabric, and if so, how did you do it?
martRA answered:
I was lucky, the fabric already had fringe on side. One side was larger than the other, so just enough for single row of fringe. I cut it off allowing about two inches, I zig zag close to fringe. Then turned under raw edge and sewed to jacket. Braid was put on top. I ordered two different fabrics from Linton, only this one had ready made fringe. I thought Linton was easy to order from, they would probably be helpful about which fabrics have fringe.
