iPad Tote

What are you most proud of? I was able to follow the directions and complete this project. What advice would you give someone starting this project? There are many layers that are very thick and difficult to stitch through. I used would recommend using the walking foot whenever possible. I had to have my laptop nearby to continuously refer to the directions.

You Can Make This

Arlene C made iPad Tote with:

  • Fabrics from stash
  • zipper
  • zipper foot

Q&A with Arlene C

Nancy-Tait asked:
K Arlene I wanna be you when I grow up :) I am jealous of all your projects!
Arlene C answered:
Nancy, you're so sweet. Now that I am retired I have the time to try these fun projects. I love Craftsy and all the ideas they have for projects. MSQC is also one of my favorite places for tutorials and creative ideas. When I actually see these projects being made, I have to try them for myself. BTW, regarding the tote, I was going through my old stuff looking for zippers and the one I used actually cost .50 cents on the sticker so I don't have any idea how long I've had it. Could be over 40 years. LOL
Karena asked:
Another awesome project, Arlene. You have a way with color.
Arlene C answered:
Thanks, Karena. So glad you like them.
