Q&A with KerriJean

carolynn.250400 asked:
I really like this project. I would love to see how the inside was designed. Are there directions available ? The fabrics you used are very attractive. I love the combo.
KerriJean answered:
Thank you Carolyn, I don't have any written instruction, just "winged" it! I've made 4, and each one I've made adjustments, until I finally got what I wanted! I'll post a picture of the inside tomorrow, and if you would like to email me privately, I would try to write up some instructions for you. My email is jean.kerri@gmail .com, hopefully it won't be too confusing!
Joyce.Jurkovich asked:
Where can I get the pattern for this project ????? I like projects that can be kept clean by being able to laundering it. Joyce (jlaesser@yahoo.com)
KerriJean answered:
Joyce, I didn't use a pattern, just used my iPad as a pattern with extra for seam allowances. Added my pockets to the front, then to the lining for the inside pockets. also used interfacing on everything, and used velcro to fasten. Once I sewed allmpcs to front and lining I put right sides of lining and front fabric together (I did use cording, but you don't have to), sewed together, lee aging an opening along bottom about 5" to turn rights sides out, then hand stitched opening. Make sure you have all pockets, ribbon for closures, and/or Velcro attached before sewing front to lining
