How to Make a Toga

Project Description

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo www.retrosewing.net/how-to-make-a-toga.html Link to website or photo www.retrosewing.net/how-to-make-a-toga.html What are you most proud of? Did this with my daughter and her friend. I'm proud of the great job they did. What advice would you give someone starting this project? We dressed up the traditional Toga with white satin polyester fabric, along with a gold belt and a sash to really glam up an otherwise plain costume. If you need a last minute costume, you may be able to find the fabric and optional items around the house. Look for things like sheets, curtains or sheers for the sash or cape, and ropes or jewelry for belts. So many possibilities.

What you will need

  • 1 to 2 yards fabric. 2 to 5 safety pins. Optional: Belt
  • trim
  • sash
  • cape. These materials came from curtains and other found items
