Homework Dress

What was your source for this sewing project? Things I learned whilst making this dress: stay-stiching, new lining technique, using a chain stitch to hold lining together, bias tape method from Coletterie. And lastly, but not least, 100% cotton dresses wrinkle a lot. What advice would you give someone starting this project? You Can Make This

adriprints made Homework Dress with:

  • I used 100% cotton
  • but I suggest using something with a little elastic or a blend so it doesn't easily wrinkle after just one wear. Depending on fabric choice
  • this dress could be quite dressy. I wanted an everyday home dress.
