Hawaiian Flower Felt Tote Bag

What are you most proud of? I designed it myself and it came out they way I had hoped! What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you own an embroidery machine, use it to stitch up the "focal point" piece for your project, then build your project around it. I started out by machine embroidering the two floral square prints, then added them to the exterior of the bag. To further decorate the project, take a look at your sewing machine's decorative stitches. I found a leaf design and a quasi-floral design that I thought would work well with the floral squares. Although I listed this project under the "Design Your Own Handbag" class, I also utilized techniques I learned in the "Bag Making Basics" class. Craftsy has GREAT classes! Take some and you're sure to learn new and wonderful things!
