Girls Boutique Peasant Dress

Project Description

What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo McCalls 6062 Link to website or photo mccallpattern.mccall.com/m6062-products-10873.php?page_id=486 What are you most proud of? I work on 4 or 5 dresses at a time, so finishing all of them is always satisfying. I like this pattern so much, I plan to make more in various sizes. What advice would you give someone starting this project? There's a lot of gathering involved, so decide on the best method. Reduce the bulk in the slip before attaching to the skirt to gather. I also found that the pattern for the slip ruffle makes a lot of ruffle ! You could cut this by 1/3 and still have a full ruffle. I hand stitched the bands to the bodice, so the stitches would be invisible. Have fun !

What you will need
