Project

Fleece Hoody with Jersey Hood Lining

Project Description

What are you most proud of? The hood lining. It was not part of the pattern, but I figured out how to do it, and it worked out! What advice would you give someone starting this project? I used the stretch stitch on my regular sewing machine instead of the zig-zag stitch. I found it looked neater. I also used an overlock stitch to finish the edges of the exposed seams on the hood and hood lining. Otherwise, I used the pattern from the course. The pattern is a VERY large style. I made the XXS and it is still rather loose, not fitted at all. So, if in doubt, go smaller.

What you will need

  • Blue microfleece for the hoodie. Thin jersey for the hood lining.

You did a wonderful job on this. The lining in the hood finishes it off very nicely :-)
Gjeometry answered:
Thanks Lori! And thanks so much for your help with how to line the hood. I still wasn't really sure how to do it, so just sort of followed along logically, how it should work, and it did!
