Exposed zipper case for sunglasses

What are you most proud of? That I didn't throw my serger out of the window when I (again) accidentially sewed over a pin. It was my fault, not the serger's... So (with no small effort) I remained patient and was able to remove the fabric and luckily there was nothing broken (except the pin...) What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just pick two nice fabrics and have fun. Oh, and: Mind the pin.

Nice job!
Barbara62 answered:
Thank you. it was so much fun!
SunnyB asked:
Love it! And the lining of roses is like a sweet secret, :-)
Barbara62 answered:
Thank you! My Mum loves it, too :)
Amy Alan asked:
It's so cute! What a good idea to make one of these for sunglasses. I just might need to "borrow" that idea. ;)
Barbara62 answered:
I had to. There was no spectacle case available that was big enough for my mum's huge glasses. You may absolutely "borrow" the idea :)
