Project

Ella's Little Black Chanelish Jacket

What are you most proud of? So far, those buttonholes! What advice would you give someone starting this project? be very, very, very patient with yourself. Don't be afraid to change things up, after all the pattern is written on paper, not stone (credit to Kenneth D. King.) My first rendition was entirely innerlined, as the fabric I chose had a very high mohair content. The pattern only calls for innerlining on the center front panel and at the neck, hem and cuffs, and this wool has linen rather than itchy mohair, so I'm doing it the way the pattern calls for this time. Wish me luck!
