Dimensional Leaves, Twisted Cords

What are you most proud of? learning techniques from friend Teresa! What advice would you give someone starting this project? See comment for instructions for leaves. Make cords by knotting ends of several bits together then zig-zagging over twisted bits once. Twist again and zig-zag again... repeat if necessary to make round cord. Note: add wire to initial bundle if you want to shape your cording! These are gorgeous. Thanks again, Teresa!

You Can Make This

Pam Sews made Dimensional Leaves, Twisted Cords with:

  • Leaves: batiks
  • floral wire or pipe cleaners. Cording: 1" strip of colored plastic bag
  • various ribbons or embroidery floss or yarns (Sari yard works great!) or trims - can add wire
