What was your source for this sewing project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Men's Pants Catalogue by Bunka Shuppan Kyoku (March 2003) Link to website or photo www.etsy.com/listing/46805493/mens-pants-catalogue-japanese-craft-book What are you most proud of? The welted pockets. I did a practice welt first to see how the fabric reacted & used iron interfacing to get a really nice finish What advice would you give someone starting this project? Pants are not as difficult as everyone thinks, you just need to take the time to cut accurately & finish everything properly. If the fabric is off grain only by a bit, they won;t hang straight. It's also the stitching details that will make or break a pair of tailored pants. I had a nice pair of Country Road pants along side me to check & copy the finishes. I wish I had added belt loops as boys will be boys & wiggled them down so they slouched on the hip, instead of sitting nicely just below the waist.
